Raised in Texas, I love spending time outdoors and enjoy traveling, cycling, backpacking, and canoeing with my wife. Professionally, I have worked as a public school educator for 31 years, including serving as an elementary school principal for the last 18 years until my retirement after the 2022-2023 school year.
